Quality Management System covering all aspects of our business.
Rather than build separate systems for occupational health and safety, equipment maintenance, and service scheduling, we monitor and manage all our activities through our Quality Management System. Integrating the functions of our business in this way focuses all our efforts on meeting the needs of our customers. Our Quality Management System is modelled on the International Standard AS/NZS ISO 9001. To provide total quality assurance our Quality Management System is externally audited and certified by Benchmark. A very important aspect of our Quality Management System is a constant search for safer, more efficient and better quality ways to provide waste management services. Occupational Health and Safety. Moconna Pty Ltd places highest priority on the safety of its staff, customers and the public. The company has an outstanding safety record. All operators handling prescribed waste (including clinical waste) have successfully completed the Victorian Waste Management Association course for handling prescribed waste. Plant and Equipment Maintenance Moconna Pty Ltd recognises that our vehicles and equipment must be kept in good order if we are to deliver timely and effective service to our customers. Equipment maintenance procedures devoted to ensuring proper maintenance of all vehicles and other equipment form an integral part of our Quality Management System. As do the control systems that are in place to ensure that all maintenance is carried out on schedule. We employ qualified staff to service all our vehicles in our own workshop. All our drivers inspect major vehicle systems each day before beginning work. This requirement and other minor maintenance is set out in Work Instructions for each task.
